We are a group of dedicated volunteers committed to building grassroots support for Democratic values in Cherokee County and empowering Democrats to step into government leadership at the local, state, and federal level.

As the state’s 7th largest county, Cherokee voters are instrumental in deciding elections statewide. In 2020, an 11-point swing in our county towards President Joe Biden compared to 2016 helped deliver Georgia’s electoral votes to Democrats for the first time since 1992.

With robust growth in the county, especially with young voters moving into our population centers, the Cherokee County Democratic Party is working tirelessly to build on the momentum from recent years and engage these new voters. We are especially excited about launching the Cherokee Young Democrats this year.

Every Democrat in Cherokee County is welcome to join our efforts by volunteering any combination of time, talent, or financial support. We hope you join us!
