Everyone deserves dignity, no matter their circumstances.

The Cherokee County Democrats Service Committee is launching a Dignity Bag Drive to support individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. Our drive will continue through the end of September, giving everyone plenty of time to participate and make a difference.

A simple bag filled with essential hygiene items can make a meaningful difference. More than just basic necessities, these bags offer comfort, restore dignity, and let someone know they are seen, valued, and not forgotten. Each bag contains enough supplies to help someone through the next 24 hours.

We’ve created an Amazon Wishlist to make giving easy. Simply purchase one or more items from the list, and your donation will be shipped directly to Service Committee Chair Connie Malhiot, where volunteers will gather to assemble the Dignity Bags for distribution throughout Cherokee County. If you prefer to shop somewhere else for these items, you may contact Connie at service@cherokeedemocrats.com to make drop off arrangements.

Whether you donate one item or several, your generosity will have a direct impact on someone facing difficult circumstances.
