HB 238

This bill creates a training course at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center to help first responders know how to deal with individuals who have dementia and other mental illnesses. It will need appropriations.

HB 77

This bill, previously discussed (see HERE), pertains to funeral processions: on rural roads, oncoming traffic must pull over until the funeral procession passes. The language of the bill was modified based on feedback from the Motor Trucking Association. The underlying intent of the bill is unchanged.
